I took off the first part of the summer term because, well I got married and went on an amazing honeymoon. Because of that, I’m only doing Summer 3 which begins tonight. I’m taking Money & Banking.

I also came to a decision about fall – because of restrictions in my financial aid, it seems to make the most sense for me to go full time in the fall. I’m already registered for 4 classes – Writing for Management, Financial Management, Principals of Hospitality Law and Hospitality Marketing & Revenue Management Practices.

This past spring, I made the decision to add a major, so I’m now a Duel Major – Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Hospitality Management and Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. The Duel Major differs from a double major in that I will graduate with more than 150 credits. This does two things for me – 1) I will actually get two diplomas. 2) I can sit for the CPA exam should I chose to.

I’m excited about giving it my all with a full time schedule, now to find a part time (20ish hours a week) to supplement my financial aid package.

My creative mojo has been MIA for a while now (I honestly feel like the beginning of Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me) but with the wedding and honeymoon past me I’ve been itching to get my hands dirty again. Then Jennifer McGuire posted a link to this Big Picture Classes class today and I really want to take it. It’s times like these where I really wish I was working and had $59 laying around to take the class. I love the idea of being able to fall in love with this hobby of mine again.

I’m still here!

I am a terrible blogger. I think of things to write but by the time I get back to the computer the thoughts are out of my head.

A lot has happened since I last posted. I got married to the most wonderful man in the world, we went on an amazing honeymoon and I came back to deal with the fun and excitement of changing my name. Also on my plate has been job hunting. I’ve been unemployed since October of 2009. I did the Disney College Program for a semester which was amazing and I stayed on as a Seasonal Cast Member in Main Entrance Operations at Epcot.

However, I need something here. For one, I’m going crazy at home and I will be the first to admit and confess that I’m a terrible housekeeper. I’ve never been neat and organized, no matter how much I try. I can clean a room and organized it and it feels like overnight it goes back to cluttered chaos.

I think my main problem is that I feel useless being at home. I am bring nothing to my new little family other than making Brian his morning coffee, breakfast sandwich and lunch and at times dinner.

I guess I’m attending a Pity Party for one right now, and that’s difficult on Brian too. He tells me not to worry, that we’re doing okay, but I know that my bringing something into the fold would be better for us. Anyone need an Admin Assistant?
